Lake of the Lilies

I saw a lot of Mallard Ducks during my recent visit to Lake of the Lilies.
I don't always pay attention to the Mallards because they are so common around here.
But on Saturday they looked particularly beautiful...
and if I am to be honest, there were not many other ducks to be seen or photographed.
The ducks that migrate to this lake and spend the winter here, have not arrived yet.

    Beautiful captures of the ducks. The Mallard male is beautiful. The first and third photos are my favorite. But, they are all lovely photos. Have a happy day!

    Beautiful! I don’t even want to guess at how many Mallard pictures I have. They are common,but still just gorgeous.

    Wonderful pics, I love them sitting in the grass as well as the water. They are beautiful!! I will have to say I get excited to even see a squirrel, it doesn't matter as long as they are an animal or bird I get excited to see them :)
