I saw a lot of Mallard Ducks during my recent visit to Lake of the Lilies.
I don't always pay attention to the Mallards because they are so common around here.
But on Saturday they looked particularly beautiful...
and if I am to be honest, there were not many other ducks to be seen or photographed.
The ducks that migrate to this lake and spend the winter here, have not arrived yet.

Wonderful pics, I love them sitting in the grass as well as the water. They are beautiful!! I will have to say I get excited to even see a squirrel, it doesn't matter as long as they are an animal or bird I get excited to see them :)
