Chippy...

This tiny little critter lives in the front garden and likes to hang out here on the bricks...
- he is kin to the squirrels -

It was interesting enough, filled with fun facts and lots of things I did not know!






The weather has been great here at the Jersey Shore.
The pool is all done, finally, and we enjoyed it all weekend long.
I'll share pictures soon of the finished oasis!

  1. Awwww. They are so cute. I can't fathom why we don't have them in Florida. Maybe our larger and numerous squirrels have pushed them out.

  2. Chipmunks here are more timid than the squirrels. Beautiful creatures though and to have one in residence is pretty special.

  5. I have one of these little guys too, Debbie (actually, I think I have the whole family!).
    I call him Cheeks, because his cheeks are always full. :-)

  7. Any yard without a chipmunk is incomplete. We have several and they are good friends, not hesitating to eat from our hands, or run up my leg and sit on my knee! Hell, my wife doesn’t do that any more!

  16. they are so adorable and you have captured this little guy perfectly! I think they are so cute and fun to watch, I don't see many of them around my house but on walks we see them in the woods. Neat link, learned some things I never knew too!

  20. We have plenty of chippys around here, and I will tolerate them as long as they don't extend those tunnels anywhere near our foundation!
