"Seas" The Day

Some days you just need to be at the beach...
salt in the air - sand in your hair.

There is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline,
no matter how many times it is sent back to sea!

Low tide, blue skies, tan sand, small splashes of white laced water...
for me, the beach is not a place...it's a feeling.

A feeling of love...

and a pocket full of happiness...
because on this 18th day of March, the ocean gave back many of it's treasures.

Spring officially starts today, is it looking like Spring where you live,

or is winter still hanging around?

We are expecting snow!

  1. Hello Debbie!:) Love your play on words title!:) Just glorious beach images. Makes me want to go there right now. The weather here is still dodgy,...sunny for a while, then pouring down with rain. My daffs are looking lovely though!

  3. I love this post Debbie. I miss the sea. And today with as much rain as we have in BĂ©jar, I remembered other waters that I like to see.
Precious the treasures that the sea returns.
    Buen martes.
    Besos.

  4. Beaches are indeed wonderful places. I just hope we can learn to protect them, not strew them with garbage, not let our dogs foul them, not careen up and down in dune buggies and share them with wildlife. For us they are recreation, for so many other creatures they are home.

  13. Beautiful! It could be in the 80's or 90's by looking at your beautiful photography! It was a chilly windy day here at the ranch near Waco, Texas. The wind has died down now so I'm hoping we get to have a campfire tonight! Just another few days and nights here and we head back home for a few weeks.

  16. What a beautiful post, I felt like I was there with you! I love all your pretty sea glass you find! We never get any of it wash in here. I especially love those green peices you have there. Do you have any of those sea glass books? I think I"ve seen one in your previous posts? anyway, I got my Mom one for her b/day and it was neat because it showed where alot of the sea glass had come from--the peices it might have been one day, like pottery or dishes or bows, plates, bottles, etc. It was a real pretty little book.

Definitely no spring here yet. Probably not for some time to come, but this next storm sounds like it will miss us.
