Longwood Gardens...The Blooms

It doesn't matter what time of year you visit
Longwood Gardens
it is always spectacular.

I have tried to pick a favorite season, but it just can't be done.
Some say Christmas is the most beautiful,
but those who pick Christmas have probably never seen the tulips.
Whenever you visit,
the main greenhouse is decorated for the season.
The extensions of the greenhouse are filled with roses,
hibiscus, bonsai trees, orchids, cactus and so much more.

Take a peak at some of the not-yet-shared pictures from December 14, 2017.

The Succulent Tree

More than 400 living white and purple moth orchids
are accented with arrowhead-vine to create this beautiful tree form.

The Orchid Extravaganza begins on January 20th at Longwood.
We have seen it many times and it is outstanding!

I'll share those pictures when we visit!
