Playing Hard To Get...

A had a fun photo shoot with a Carolina Wren...
He knew I was at the window, that I wanted a picture, and preferred to play hard to get!
What I love about these pictures is how much feather detail they show.
All the "fluffiness"...



all the different shades of brown, that there is even a little gray in there...




and look at those pretty stripes in his tail.

 What a wonder...what a thrill to be able to interact with the birds in this way!!

    the C wren isn't much to look at, but they have a pair of lungs on 'em. Love to listen to them sing. And boy can they sing.

    Yes, indeed, lucky you! I love how you enteract with your birds and other critters. That is such a beautiful little bird and the colors are lovely. He is a fluffy one for sure.

    LOL! I've always liked how their down-turned beak makes them look grumpy. Probably a male which would explain the lack of cooperation. ;-)
