Along the Way...

We were on our way home the other day and out of the corner of my eye I spotted...

Bambi, with some cute little baby Bambi's that still had their spots.
I mentioned it yelled out to the hubs and was sure he would swirl the car around.
He didn't and shortly thereafter we were sitting at a red light.
We just sat there as I babbled on and on about how close they were to the road.
Finally, he asked, "do you want me to turn around"??
- awwww, YES -
He did and I was able to capture this incredible moment.
There was a little bit of trespassing
 - this is someone's backyard -
I rang their doorbell once before and they were not home, today, I didn't have time.

The Bambi's are almost always as curious about me as I am of them.

  1. They are pretty used to people to hang about like that. They are very skittish in the country, which of course is also hunting territory.

  3. Lol. Your conversations with your husband sound like the conversations in our car. We do a lot of U turns on back roads here. Thank God for great husbands.

    The Bambis are gorgeous!

  7. You rang their doorbell? You are so cute.

And so is he. Turning around, so you could get the shot.

And I guess, he was 'riding shotgun' too..... with you walking in someone's yard!!!!
