The Monarch Butterflies, considered to be the "king" all of butterflies,
are abundant in the garden right now.
Primarily attracted to milkweed plants, you can also find them on butterfly bushes
and echinacea also known as cone flowers.
With a life span of 2 - 6 weeks, it is important to enjoy one when you see it.
In Fall, they migrate to Mexico...
Most people consider Monarchs to be the prettiest of all butterflies,
my favorites are the Yellow Swallowtails
So magnificent

The butterfly is gorgeous! And your photos truly reflect its beauty! We haven't seen any yet here in Texas but I shall be on the look. One year we were in California in October and we saw where the Monarchs gather at what is called The Butterfly Tree. It was an amazing sight! I forget the name of the town.
