Sickles Market

It's an odd name for a store, but perhaps it has a "secret" meaning.
It is a food/produce store/butcher/nursery/florist/cool stuff we don't need store.
This place had it all...plus Produce Pete whom I had never heard of.
He was there for a few hours, signing his book - all new to me.
I need to watch the news and get out more.

So let me show you around...

That was indoors, I'll show you the outside nursery tomorrow!

 oooooh and I Googled the definition of "sickle"
"an implement for cutting grass or grain - hooklike blade mounted on a short handle"
I think that may be the meaning behind the name,
you will understand that more when you see outside!

    Looks like they have a bit of everything in there. That is the kind of store I love to go in and just walk around taking it all in.

    What a awesome place!!! I think I could spend hours there, at every turn something cool to look at.
    Now I need to look up produce Pete. I wonder what he writes about.
    Do you know I used to do produce for a living when I first got married? Hardest job I ever had but boy did I love it. :)

    Sickles--could be a family name. I have a friend whose last name is Sickles.
    One could get lost in that store for hours and hours--if one could stand on their feet that long without their back breaking!
    I saw some stuff in there that I'd like to buy. :-)

    Yikes! Walking in there, would give me a confusion-headache! -grinnnn-

    In those jam-packed stores, I wonder how they deal with people picking stuff up, stuffing it in somewhere, and walking out with it????????? Everything, could not have a chip in it, to beep, when going out.

    I actually love stores like these. The downside???
    You can spend a whole lotta money in a very short period of time, when you realize that you "need" this, that, and the other.
    Still, I love it.

    Wow it looks like they have a great assortment of things to look at, and some yummy things too! I love those kind of places, you feel like you just aren't seeing it all. Such a great place to explore!

    You do find the most interesting stores to visit and this is a great one. I would probably spend way too much time in this store. I really like dishes so they caught my eye. It looked like such a fun visit. Love it all! Hugs~

Bob Sickles is the owner and our store is built on the land his family inherited from the King of England in 1663.
