Yarn Along...

Wednesday's "use to be" Yarn Along...
That is over now but I thought every now and again, on Wednesday's,
I would bore you with what I am knitting.
I do know today is Thursday,
I have no memory of Tuesday, but I am writing this on Wednesday
so maybe that counts.

So "what's on my needles" you ask??
Washcloths - I am still knitting washcloths - even I have become bored with them!

I finished the green set and I have that pretty homemade honey soap to go with the set.

I finished the grayish one and yesterday,
I started it's companion, the blue one.

My hydrangeas are blooming and I could not be happier.
Yesterday, I snuck outside and cut a few blooms to bring inside.
It is suppose to cool off the next few days,
if it does,
I'll show you all of my pretty hydrangea bushes.
I have a total of six, these all came off of the same plant, an Endless Summer!
I love when one bush provides a variety of colors!!

  1. Hi Debbie, they look handy, my mother use to do a lot of knitting and crochet work as well as embroidery. When I was a little boy I use to sit and watch Her, mesmerised at the speed of her hands.
    Take care, Gordon.

  8. LOL... My poor husband!!! I just *had* to show him your gorgeous Hydrangea blossoms!!!

Some years ago, he planted hydrangeas in front of our front patio. First year, they were amazing!!! Next year, not so much. Then nothing. He has read about them, and done everything he was "told" to do, and still... Nothing! It is the bane of his gardening existence. -grin-

Sooooo, I ask you... What is your secret???????? :-)

Actually, he should dig them up and start over but....

  14. You are not boring us with your projects, in fact I went out and bought some handmade soaps at a farmers market and have been downloading a few different patterns to make up for washcloths, so you are an inspiration :)
Your flowers are lovely, I wish we had more that I could bring into the house. Hope things cool down for you, I do know it gets hard to get out there when it is so HOT. We are hoping tomorrow morning is cool when we go to our towns Monthly flea market
