The Cookie Lady's Cafe

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals for dining out.
Breakfast at home is usually a light meal, 
unless it is a special occasion.
When I cook breakfast for a special occasion, 
it is a sports spectacular and the kitchen is always a disaster zone.

Last Friday we had breakfast here and what a delight -
the decor was awesome, the food even better!!


The place was packed when we arrived, empty when we left.
(After posting this - I noticed that all the stools were similar, but each one is different - kinda' cool)

How nice of everyone to leave so I could take pictures.

I had fresh squeezed Orange Juice...

and Eggs Benedict with Pork Roll, it was divine.

The place was loaded with cute - funny signs.

    The Cookie Lady has such a wonder restaurant. It is so neat, tidy and clean. The counter and the stools are pure nostalgia from the past.

    Aw Debbie, it's such a cute (oops just looked up and saw Eileen saying it was cute too... ha ha... I'll still say it ;D)) place.
    I'd have breakfast there ... even if I'd only just had breakfast!! Love those bright yellow seats out the front too.

    I agree with #Michelle above! - I especially love how they saved the beadboard, and added current vintage-y look stuff :> What made me look twice at this title was a friend of mine once had "The Cookie Lady" as a nickname - and - boy, could she cook, too ;)~~

    I love it! So clean and neat. Everything spic and span. I'd like some French toast and sausage, please and...oh yes, a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice!

    Breakfast for us too, except our fave place is closed due to illness, and I suspect that it will never reopen.

    A real, old fashioned, little cafe!!!!!! Delightful!!!!

    Next time you go, ask about the stools. I'm sure there is a story, of how they were collected. :-)

    love it... so cute. i love all the happy colors. the curtains are just precious. looks like a yummy place to try some goodies. i love their counter seating. that is where i would sit. ( ;

    Super cute! Love places like this. We have a little place in Wall, The Country Kitchen. Chase loves sitting at the counter and ordering a pork roll and cheese sandwich with a chocolate milk.

    What a cute cafe and so clean . . . I like that in a eating establishment :) Sorry to say, they are all not that clean. Love the bright yellow benches and the blue pots, so welcoming and cheerful. This is my first visit to your blog, but I'll be back.

    It looks like they put a bit of thought into their place, like the stools being quite alike but totally different too. We went away the past two days and we ate at a unique little place, everyone knew everyone, so fun!

    You do find the most unique places to eat. I really loved this one because it reminded me of the cafe my parents owned for a while when I was young. The counter and stools were just like that; except there weren't as many stools. The food looked yummy! I would go back to that place too. I will be curious as to what the lunch menu is.
