Momma Mallard...

She was protecting her babies...all 3 tucked underneath her.




But at the same time, it was obvious that she wanted me to see them...she was a proud momma.



This little one was happy to escape and run around without it's siblings.
Still momma kept a close eye on baby!!

    Oh, Debbie these are spectacular photos of the mamma and baby. I do love how they are protective of their babies. Mothers are amaizing and born to nurture and protect. Hugs~
