The Backroads...

We ride the backroads to our favorite bike path in 

Only 10 minutes from home, still we pass a lot of barns and farms.

 
I enjoy seeing the horses out in the pastures...
and I almost always make the hubs stop so I can take pictures.

    We used to play the Horse Game when traveling.
    If the horses are on your side of the car: 5 points for a brown horse, 10 for black and 20 for white.
    It kept the kids occupied, except for the one sitting in the middle of the back seat. LOL

    Looking into the eyes of a horse is like looking into a deep well. I always wonder what is going on in there. Love them!

    They are still in their winter clothes. That is amazing that is only 10 minutes from your house.
    I think it looks nice. Not to mention my favorite smell in the world is horse. :)

    I love your bike rides. My dear hubby and I really need to get out on our bakes this year. We need exercise, badly. Love the photosof the area and thoee beautiful horses. One of horses looks like one my parents owned. They loved riding horses together. Thanks for sharing these; they brought back some memories of my parents and their horses.
