The Monuments by Moonlight Night Tour is a "don't miss" if you are ever in the
Washington, D.C. area.
A nighttime trolley tour that takes you right to some of the city's most popular monuments.
Our tour guide Jason was awesome,
and had some very interesting and fun facts about the city.
The Capital
The Lincoln Memorial
Korean War Memorial
We also saw the
Vietnam Veteran's Memorial Wall here.
Iwo Jima Memorial
The hubs and I really enjoyed the tour although parts of it were quite solemn.
Washington, D.C. is a really beautiful city at night!
Such beautiful photos, Debbie. Yes, I felt some tears at the solemn ones. This country of ours has seen enormous tragic times; lost lives. My wish now would be for all American's to pull together instead of all the infighting. Very sad, these days.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for sharing.

My wife and I had a trip planned on the very weekend of a very big event (9-11). Easy to conclude we didn't make that trip. Never have rescheduled. I can't get Dina out of the house.

ReplyDeleteHey Debbie....I will try to remember to work on doing my photos larger. I am pulling from the files that I reduced to post so that they would not be used for anything else. But thank you for the comment. Thanks also for the comments on my professional shoots. Wished I was still doing the senior shoots but weddings, so glad I am not doing that any longer.
