Country Roads

I like riding on the back roads, even better are country roads that are new to us.
Our ride to... 
Frozen In Ice 
was a fun one, on roads we don't normally travel.
There were a lot of barns in the area,
we stopped to photograph 3 that I thought were exceptionally unique.



I like the Quilt Barns, I'm sure there were a lot more that I missed.
It's difficult to knit and take in the sights and I'm not sure which I love more!

    When we were kids, every Sunday afternoon was spent riding down country roads. It's one of my favorite memories. Love your barns, Debbie. :)

    Country roads, take me home, to the place, I belong--------which would be my family farms.
    The quilt barns are cool. I wonder if German's live on those farms, or Pennsylvania Dutch.

    I love driving down the country roads. When I was young my parents often took rides out in the country roads. I love barns and have been trying to get my grandson to do a barn art picture. He is a fantastic artist. Anyway, I used to take photos of barns once in a while and put them on another ladies blog; it was fun. I loved these barns; you saw some good ones. Blessings and hugs!

    Oh how fun, when we have the time we like to take the back roads too, you never know what you will come across, you found some interesting barns, Greg likes to take pics of the ones that are falling apart.

    I love your barn photos. When I visit my sister in Kentucky, one of the things I love to photograph most are the barns - from gorgeous red barns, to striking black tobacco barns, and to the barns in shambles that yield some of the best imagined stories. Barn quilts abound, and are such eye-catchers. Thank you for sharing.
