I see Cardinals year round, but as the temperatures drop outside,
I see a lot more at my feeders and hanging around in the trees.
Now that everyone's favorite tree is bare of leave's,
the Cardinal's have decided to switch things up and hang out in this Evergreen,
much further from the window.
I prefer the tree - thank you very much -
I have been waiting all Summer for it to be bare of leaves,
I have been waiting all Summer for it to be bare of leaves,
making snapping these images a breeze.
But - looking on the bright side, this falls into my "new perspective" category.
You remember - the challenge I use when the birds are hanging around in the tops of the trees.
This Evergreen is a tangled mess,
so I have a new challenge, just getting a picture.
I am happy to welcome all this red in the back yard, it goes nicely with all my Christmas decor.
Their red beaks amaze me..
