It's been a warm, downright hot week here at The Jersey Shore.
Monday, we took the bikes out early for a ride in
Allaire State Park
Allaire State Park
Our timing was perfect, as we finished our ride and were loading up the bikes
Not only were these horses beautiful but they were so friendly,
nuzzling up to me and allowing me to pet and hug them.
One of the owners gave me a carrot so I could feed this one.
Can I please just say, I meet the nicest people, and horses, along the way!!

ReplyDeleteIn my next life, I'm going to own a horse (and play the violin - but that's a whole different thing). As a kid - this was my favorite coloring for a horse - so pretty! Now I pretty much like them all. You got some wonderful shots of this sweet horse!

ReplyDeleteI had to smile when you said it's been hot. We've been the opposite. It was 19-degrees the other morning and it only got up to 54-degrees that day. Right now I am sitting next to the wood burner :) Hugs!
The horse looks so sweet! I hope one day I will get a chance to pet or hug a horse.

I could have stayed and pet him all afternoon.
We had very hot weather this past week too, but yesterday the heavy rains and wind came, and today???
