Monarchs in Meadow

Monarch butterflies migrate in fall, usually mid September.
I was so surprised to see several still fluttering around in 
The Meadow Garden at Longwood Gardens.

  7. My Mother loved Monarch butterflies. We once drove over into Canada to see where they "gathered" before their migration. Trees that looked like they had orange leaves--on closer inspection--millions of Monarch's hanging on the limbs.
