I am still working on my Guernsey Wrap...
I have a feeling I will be saying that for a while but that's ok, it is a really fun knit.
I have moved on from Chart A, finally, and have advanced to Chart B.
If you are familiar with this pattern, you know that that is a huge milestone.
For Chart A you work rows 1 - 78 of the pattern twice
and then knit rows 1 - 58 of Chart A once more.
Chart B is only 24 rows and I am working on row 6.
That's a total of 220 rows completed.
I think I am about half way!

Your Guernsey wrap is looking beautiful, Debbie. I LoVe the different patterns and the soft colour.
ReplyDeleteyay!
ReplyDeleteOh you are such a great knitter now. I LOVE LOVE this pattern. I unfortunately have not knit one thing for over a year. Sigh but I will get back to it. HUGS B
ReplyDeleteGood morning, so glad you are making progress. It looks beautiful! Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteYour Guernsey wrap is gorgeous. Sadly it's not cheap to knit with real wool nowadays unless you find a great discount in the stores. You will most certainly enjoy wearing your wrap after all the work involved in its creation :)
ReplyDeleteHello Debbie!:) I'm not a knitter, but I can see when the tension of the stitches look evenly knitted. It looks like a complicated pattern, but beautifully done. Someone will be very happy to own it.
ReplyDeleteYour knitting is so impressive! If you check out my post today, you'll see the cutest little girl (My Little Pony) creation made with love by my little grown up girl! She can knit! I am so envious of you both.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. Keep on trucking!
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed. I love that you enjoy this.
ReplyDeleteYou're doing such beautiful work. I love it!

ReplyDeletethis is one gorgeous knit!!!! keep on trucking!!! so worth it!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! It's absolutely beautiful! I personally can't seem to follow (or finish) something with so much chart work and detail, so I am always particularly impressed by people who can. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour work is wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful! I am back to beginning Chart A--about 30 rows in.
ReplyDeleteConcentrating on x-stitching a baby quilt right now, but do pick up and knit when I get tired of the x-stitch.
Keep on knittin'.
At least there's a lot of variation in the texture to keep things interesting!
ReplyDeleteThat looks incredibly soft! I love seeing your knitting. :-)
ReplyDeleteOh my...this is absolutely fabulous! I always put the yarns away come summer...but it's getting to be that time again! Thanks for share this! I love it! Aloha!
ReplyDeleteI know I've said this before about this scarf, but truly, Debbie, it is so beautiful, and you are doing such wonderful work on it. xo.
ReplyDeleteI always admire those who are good with yarn. My wife tried it and didn't amount to much. I sort of tried but I felt like a 90 year old on a computer in the 1990s, I had no idea what to do.
ReplyDeleteLookimg good Debbie. keep up the good work
ReplyDeleteI like that variation point, Debbie. It is precious!!
ReplyDeleteBesos.
That looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteIt's looking good
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
It is beautiful but it also looks complicated. You are very talented in this area. Hugs~
