Saturday Critters ~ 135 ~

On Tuesday, instead of walking at the reservoir,
the hubs suggested we go to Allaire State Park, he could walk and I could ride my bike.
Bikes are not permitted at the reservoir.
I love riding at Allaire, especially at dusk, the park is filled with deer,
and there are a lot less people here than at the reservoir.

About 500 feet in to my ride I came across this beauty.

Curious about me, this guy hung around for several minutes before scampering off.

Out in this open field, there were maybe 10 deer "cutting the grass",
and checking me out.

I saw 2 babies...that still had their spots.

The deer in this park are very tame...

and it is a great spot to view the little ones.

And on my way back to the car I spotted this buck.
Or you might say 1/2 a buck.

He tried to pretend he wasn't interested in me,

but clearly he was.
I also like to ring my bike bell,
it doesn't scare them, I do it so they will remember me, next time I visit!!

I've been drooling over the new "old" bikes I've seen. I just never got used to those hand brakes.
