Asbury Park

In keeping with yesterday's Asbury Park theme, 
I thought I would share some of what's been happening up on the boardwalk.
The SeaChange 2016 Wooden Wall Project

Just north of Convention Hall on the Asbury Park boardwalk,
local artists are painting unique and colorful murals on the wooden walls.







It is a continuation of the Parlor Gallery I featured here.
Another landmark building in Asbury Park is

 The Berkeley Oceanfront Hotel 
there is a long history and story about this hotel that Johnny Cash once owned.

    These are awesome, Debbie. Love the hotel, and had no idea that Johnny Cash had once owned one. You know I love every country, and Johnny was/is still one of my favorites. :)

    I did enjoy looking at the art work. I would say unique and strange in some ways. It isnt my favorite kinf of art but Intersting. I enjoyed the photos of the hotel and find it interesting the Johnny Cash once owned it. Blessings!😊

    Wow, now that is a mixture of different murals, some are quite interesting.... The hotel looks like it is maintained nicely, very cool windows, bet they bring a lot of light in. Is that a private suite up at the top there, do you suppose Johnny use to hang out up there and check out the city :)

    The murals are all so different, especially the one with all those numbers.

    Wow that is quite the Artwork. Some I liked (The Mermaid was my favorite) and some I didn't care for (all those numbers) but it was quite interesting to see.
