Out on one of my Heron and Egret hunts at
Lake of the Lillies,
I happened upon a sleeping flock of domestic ducks.
Most of them never budged an inch,
opening their eyes was about all I could get them to do.
This was the only one,
who stood up...
and then immediately laid back down...
which made getting these images a breeze!
Magnificas fotografias dos belos habitantes do lago.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e bom fim de semana.

Ducks always quack me up! Lake of the Lilies. Such a beautiful name I'd have to investigate too. Are there many Water Lilies on the lake?
ReplyDeleteI see the white ducks are already mounting but great shots Debbie
ReplyDeleteLove the feather on the nose:)
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful photos. You must have been able to get down low to take them. Love that sign too! Enjoy your weekend. Hugs, Diane

ReplyDeleteIt is a great feeling to realize the common beauty ... eh
ReplyDeleteadorable characters. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, aren't they just lazy little things! Great pics, Debbie. I'm glad they cooperated instead of running all over with you chasing. Hunter tried to get a kitten from next door this morning to take home (they said she could) but every time she got close, the dang thing would run. Maybe next time. :)
