Yarn Along!!

I did not finish all my Christmas knitting before Christmas,
I have lofty goals.

I finished my pretty purple Donnie's Hat
after Christmas.
It is done, mailed and received.

I put a pom-pom on it, I think this is the best pom-pom I have ever made.
I googled "how to make a pom-pom" and found a site that used a fork.
I wish I had taken pictures, I used a meat fork as I wanted it a little larger,
it was so easy and I think it looks great!!

I made my usual tags for it,
I always cut up the yarn tag and include that as well.

And you will never believe what I have moved on to...

another Donnie's Hat, in blue.

And I want to start reading again,
fingers crossed that my memory will kick in.
I ordered this book with my Paperwhites at Amazon.com.

If I can't read it, at least it will look pretty
sitting on the shelf!
* wink *

I am joining Ginny at Small Things

  2. Love the pompon!
I have given up on attempting to read..... It takes too much time away from knitting.
But I have figured out how to listen to books on audible. That counts, right?!

  5. The hat came out beautiful...nice job:) Ever tried audio books while you knit? Works like a charm and you can download them free from your local library and once they are downloaded they will not expire until you delete them.

  13. Your knitting always makes me want to go out and buy a hat even though I know full well I won't wear it because my head gets to hot. Beautiful work.

  14. Looks great! I wear a toque about 6 months of the year, so getting the right one is important. Got a fluorescent orange to wear during hunting season this year.

  18. I would say that you are becoming an expert in this craft. I love the blue color that you are working on. It is my favorite color of all. The book looks like a good one too and the cover is cute or maybe attractive is a better word. Hugs~
