If you never make, bake or cook anything else in your entire life,
please make this,
I beg you...it is delicious!!
I didn't take blow by blow pictures...
it was night time, the kitchen was dark and I didn't realize
what a hit it would be.
Next time, and believe me, there will be a next time!!
I did not make the bread as called for in the recipe,
I used one tube of Pillsbury, ready made french bread.
Cut it into bite size pieces and it worked perfectly.
I did not change the recipe, otherwise.
And do you see that red pot holder/heat protector on the handle,
buy one, you'll need it, it works great!
If you are interested in the pot holder, you can find it here
at Amazon.com.
I was not able to find one in stores!!
The recipe is here, in case you missed the link above!!

ReplyDeleteermigad...perfect for the Super Bowl
ReplyDeleteMy grandson makes the best artichoke dip. I have to send this recipe to him. He's gonna love it. And, maybe he will share with me. hehe
ReplyDeleteyummy!
ReplyDeleteThis looks and sounds amazing.
ReplyDeleteSounds like heaven in a pan. Just got a new cast iron skillet. I think this must be made this weekend!
ReplyDeleteNot only does this sound delicious but it's such a beautiful dish, especially in that cast iron skillet. Everything looks better cooked in cast iron! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThat is by far the best recipe that I have tried for artichoke dip. I do make my own bread, but in a pinch I could make it with the canned french bread. The first time I fixed it, it was gone so fast.
ReplyDeleteI love serving bread out of my skillet anyway. :) That grippy thing on the handle looks like it is something I need. :) Have a lovely day Debbie.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. I have company coming this weekend, if we can get rid of this darned snow ;) I know what I am going to be starting off with.
ReplyDeleteOh boy - now that is the bomb! Looks so good. I'm going to try it once I get the pie making experiments out of the way. :)

Your pictures turned out great, I could almost "lick the screen"! It looked sooo good! I will check out the link and print this recipe off to make. I love getting inspired with new dishes to try, and your iron skillet with a pot-holder is nice. I do need one of those. Will check that link out as well! Have a wonderful day :)
ReplyDeleteMmmmm, sounds comforting on a cold day.
ReplyDeleteLooks so good, this actually made me hungry!!!
ReplyDeleteStopping in via Beate's blog, just read your comment there and I agreed. She does have such a way with uplifting our spirits. ;-)
Nice blog you have here too, LOVE your header and blog name too.
Have a great week, G
Debbie, but delicacies.
ReplyDeleteAt the sight of this food I'm very hungry.
Greetings.
This is such good stuff!
ReplyDeleteSure wish I could try it! It's tricky cooking without yeast, dairy or eggs!
ReplyDeleteWow, this looks so good.
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds interesting, I like raw spinach, not so much cooked, but combined with all the other stuff may cover that up
ReplyDeleteWow that sure looks good!!!!
ReplyDeleteWow that sure looks good!!!!
