Warm Skillet Bread Artichoke Spinach Dip

If you never make, bake or cook anything else in your entire life,

 please make this,
I beg you...it is delicious!!

I didn't take blow by blow pictures...
it was night time, the kitchen was dark and I didn't realize
what a hit it would be.
Next time, and believe me, there will be a next time!!

I did not make the bread as called for in the recipe,
used one tube of Pillsbury, ready made french bread.
Cut it into bite size pieces and it worked perfectly.
I did not change the recipe, otherwise.

And do you see that red pot holder/heat protector on the handle,
buy one, you'll need it, it works great!

If you are interested in the pot holder, you can find it here
at Amazon.com.
I was not able to find one in stores!!

The recipe is here, in case you missed the link above!!

  1. My grandson makes the best artichoke dip. I have to send this recipe to him. He's gonna love it. And, maybe he will share with me. hehe

  2. Sounds like heaven in a pan. Just got a new cast iron skillet. I think this must be made this weekend!

  3. Not only does this sound delicious but it's such a beautiful dish, especially in that cast iron skillet. Everything looks better cooked in cast iron! Thanks for sharing!

  4. That is by far the best recipe that I have tried for artichoke dip. I do make my own bread, but in a pinch I could make it with the canned french bread. The first time I fixed it, it was gone so fast.
I love serving bread out of my skillet anyway. :) That grippy thing on the handle looks like it is something I need. :) Have a lovely day Debbie.

I love getting inspired with new dishes to try, and your iron skillet with a pot-holder is nice. I do need one of those. Will check that link out as well! Have a wonderful day :)

  11. Sure wish I could try it! It's tricky cooking without yeast, dairy or eggs!

  12. Oh that sounds interesting, I like raw spinach, not so much cooked, but combined with all the other stuff may cover that up
