Lighting The Tree

Every town has a tree lighting ceremony this time of year.
Few are better than the tree lighting event in
They lit their tree on Sunday night, and the event was wonderful.

They had a parade for the kids...

 Olaf, Minions, Elves and Reindeer!

A train ride for the little ones,
although it appears Santa did not get that memo...

Olaf, up close, he is one of my favorites.

The Long Branch High School dancers were excellent,

 as was their color guard.

It's so cool to see the kids today with so much school spirit.

Check out that beautiful scarf keeping the hubs warm,

and Santa looking me straight in the eyes.

 They lit the tree...

with lot's of Christmas songs and background music.

This was a great way to kick off the holiday season!

... and the scarf looks good on the hubs...

Our grandchildren had fun at their local towns Christmas festivities at the weekend. The older one took part in the parade dressed as a reindeer - special times.
