Knit Four...Purl Four,

it makes a pretty pattern and a beautiful scarf.
I started this scarf last week,
I adore the pattern and the Homestead Tweed yarn.
The pattern is by my good friend
Andee at Match the Pictures
called the
400 Yard Scarf

 The pattern is easy, breezy...
perfect for watching the game and knitting.

The yarn is a beautiful, natural looking tweed,
with pops of surprise colors throughout.

I am just about half way and this will surely need to be blocked,
it's a curler!!

I am joining Ginny at Small Things
for
Yarn Along

  5. What a lovely stitch! I found a pattern online, it looked like some language from a different planet. I showed Ron and he asked me what does it say? I read it to him??? I could read knit!!! Don't ask me how, but at some point in my memory, knitting lives!! I wish I could come and sit with you and let you teach me. :) I think it would be fun. I love your crafty, cooking and knitting days, I also love your trips with Chuck, I also think you are wonderful Debbie, have a lovely day.

  9. Very nice! I envy anybody with the talent to knit, sew or do anything intricate like that.

  10. I agree with Sharon, I admire those who can learn to knit, sew, etc...(just not one of my talents). Loving the warm color of the yard your using.

  12. My dear mum used to knit some lovely clothes ... cardigans, jumpers, knitted animals - her needles were always clicking, special memories.

I do like the look of your yarn, enjoy your knitting.

    All the best Jan
