Sticks and String Excite Me...

As you may have already figured out,
this here is one more knitting post!

I have been knitting for 17 months now and I am completely addicted.
I get kind of excited when I talk about knitting,
and there is some expectation in me,
that everyone should understand that.
And if you are a knitter, you are shaking your head right now,
as you get it.

I finished the Guernsey Wrap,
can I please get a "whoop...whoop" for that
as I have been working on it forever.
It is the second Guernsey I have completed, it will be a gift,
for someone who is very special.

So here it is, drum roll, drum roll please...

Here she is, stretched out, blocked and drying.
This gives a better idea of how big she is.

I did get a little sad as it came off the needles,
I think I may have developed an unhealthy relationship with it.

I am joining Ginny at Small Things
for
Yarn Along

  11. A well deserved WHOOP WHOOP. This is beautiful, I love the pattern and it's so neatly knitted. I can't believe that you've been knitting for such a short time. I must check out where you found it.
Maybe you could make one for yourself and then the love affair can begin all over again.
    Happy knitting,

  19. I'm definitely not a knitter, but you definitely still get a big whoop from me! Somebody has to be an admirer of talent! That's my role not life, since I have none of my own!

  20. Yes--I understand. I am "suppose" to be finishing up a crocheted Queen Size bed blanket, but I got hooked on knitting bath mitts and a hat--with such intricate patterns I could put them down!! I had a heck of a time working with the double pointed needles!!
