Saturday Critters ~ 97 ~

It was so cool to interact with this Praying Mantis.
The hubs spotted him and he was so happy to let us know, 
that he knew, he was the center of my attention!



I really loved the shadow he provided, especially in the first two.

We were in Peddler's Village in Pa. 
they are having a huge Scarecrow contest...
I will share pictures of those another day...
today, I needed a Critter!

  14. Lovely mantis shots! They are such cool little beings. I love how their multifaceted eyes still somehow catch the light in a way to give the illusion of pupil staring straight at you. Creepy but still fun.

  24. I too like to see the actions they do. As their name indicates they used to keep their both the antenna raising all the time. Beautiful shadows made be them...

  25. One of my favorite kinds of bugs. I remember finding a huge one in my backyard when I was a kid. I examined it for hours.
