The Garage ~ It's Sparkly Clean

The hubs has been working in the garage for a week now,
finishing yesterday.

It was a big project because he decided to re-epoxy the floor.
He had applied epoxy to the floor years ago,
but it had gotten very dirty and was starting to peel.

He took everything out, cleaned the floor
and had to grind it down.
It was a huge job.

I did not take before pictures,
but the after images are quite impressive.

This is a close up of the floor...

it's so clean and I love the speckled finish!!
We keep both vehicles in the garage,
so it's important that everything else is up and out of the way!!

Many, many thanks to the hubs,
I think the garage may be cleaner than the house.

  3. Good morning, Debbie. Your hubs did a great job on the floor. I like the finish and speckles. It is nice to see a garage uncluttered. Have a happy day!

  4. Oh my! If I had a garage that looked like that, I'd never put my car in it. I would keep the door open and show it off.

  5. That's just not fair! No garage should be that clean! Can't you find him some more old junk to clutter it up? It should be full of useless stuff rather than having room to park cars!

  6. Very impressive! I'm envious too, my neighbor did that to their garage, and it's unbelievable how beautiful it is, you almost don't want to bring a car inside! Almost! Ha! Ha!

  11. Debbie!
A big round of applause for your husband.
Great work. Garages look like rooms for cars.
    Greetings.

  12. I think it is wonderful too. Gosh what a pretty floor. I always like it when our garage is spick and span too.
It does sound like a ton of work. Good for Chuck!!

  13. If I were you I would hire him out. Spanking lovely.

Most men's garages are just terrible and Junky.

  14. Oh goodness - such a great job, and it looks so NICE! We sure need to do something with our garage since Patti and I both have a lot of stuff we probably could either find proper places for or throw away things. :) Go hubs!!

  16. Wow Debbie! Your hubby did a great job! I'm hiring him to de-clutter and epoxy the floor! First I have to talk my hubby into getting rid of some of the useless junk that's piled up in our garage! :)

  28. Wow that is wonderful, love how fresh and clean it looks. we have cement and it is a mess, since we don't have a basement all my decorations and everything is kept out there, plus our recycle bins and I have a few boxes that need to go to Goodwill, I would love a fresh clean looking garage like this!
