I had friends back in Texas who had about 20 cuckoo clocks. The top of the hour was horrible...and they slept through that at night. I have no idea how. Even the quarter hour tings drove me nuts.
These are some VERY ornate cuckoo clocks!!! Love the one where the woman is hitting the guy in the head with a stick! I also adore what you did with the prompt!!
We have our old cuckoo clock, which stayed at the cottage for years. It isn't working any more, but I adore it! Great photos. Thanks for your kind words. We found out he has cancer in his lymph nodes this week. Biopsy Monday. There we go...it's a journey.
Funny to see this cockoo clocks in this post :)! I'm so familiar with them because you find them everywhere in old houses around the alps!!! Lovely! Happy days and all my best from Austria Elisabeth
I have always loved cuckoo clocks. Photo #6 is just like one my mom had in the 60's. I wonder what happened to that clock? These are all fantastic.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, the cuckoo clocks are neat. They look like art work, so many different designs. Happy Friday, have a great weekend!
