My knitting teacher Leanne at Arrow Acres Farm
is hosting "open knits"!!
When you arrive at the farm, a chair is waiting outside for you...
you knit whatever is "on your needles" and this is your view!!
It's just so fun!!
This is Pompy...
These two pictures were taken on April 30th,
only a few days after he was born.
He has a beautiful white heart on his forehead!!
I went back on May 7th and Pompy came to the fence to greet me.
He was 40 days premature and his future was very uncertain
when he arrived.
Now he is running around with the herd
and his future is bright.
It' is a miracle.
All of these ladies are "expecting"!!
This is Maggie, she is one of my favorites!!
Here's the knitting crew...
this is one of the fun-est things I do.
Many thanks to Leanne and the rest of the girls,
I so enjoy your company!!
oohhhhh and there are some fences in there too...

ReplyDeleteDoes Pompy have a sister Circumstance?
ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Debbie. I would have a hard time concentrating on the knitting. I'd be watching the alpacas and cute Pompy. They are so darn cute! Great fence shots, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting place to sit and knit! (On a sunny warm day)!
ReplyDeleteIt's their eye lashes that kill me! I LOVE this! It's why I host scrapbooking workshops - so much fun crafting with the girls...we've built some great friendships over the years of cutting and pasting!!
ReplyDeleteOh! how I would love to join you. Pompey is just adorable.
ReplyDeleteLove that first photo where the one in the background is feeling frisky. Very cute! So glad you're enjoying your knitting sessions. Knitting is something I've never attempted.
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie, how fun to have a knitting crew! That must make knitting all the more fun :)
ReplyDeletePompy is adorable! And the expecting mothers....how precious. Enjoy your day!
That sure looks like fun.....
ReplyDeletelove the first shot - not sure if that is pompy in the background jumping, but whoever it is, sure is cute! :)
ReplyDeletePompy is the real keeper of beauty. And the one in back jumping. I have the baby deer do that when they are young. I call it the jumping of joys. Builds up body muscles for them. The Alpacas I would be watching them for sure.
ReplyDeleteNice fences.
Wow you ladies have some pleasure. Never seen this before. The knitting gals. Cool!
Yet my mother in-law could look up an watch t.v and knit comes naturally.
Pretty neat.
That looks like such a relaxing day for you. Love those alpacas, especially the little guy!
ReplyDeleteI would love a knitting group like that. I bet you girls do as much talking as you do knitting.
ReplyDeleteThese are such lovely photos, and what a great way to relax, I know my wife says her crocheting is one of the ways she meditates.

Such a fun setting for everyone while they knit. I'd be distracted though by those cute alpaca's. Pompy is adorable.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Pompy is ADORABLE! Not sure I could keep my eyes on my knitting- I'd be wanting to grab my camera and take photos!
ReplyDeleteIt would be hard for me to keep my eyes off such cuties! What a fun and relaxing place to knit away!
ReplyDeleteI would sit there and knit too. What a lovely place! I love those babies.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE little Pompy jumping in the background of the first photo! What a great post, Miz Purp! Great Post! Wish I could knit. My hands just can't hold the needles. Oh well. Me crochet.
