Saturday Critters ~ 62 ~

On February 12th, the Robins arrived.
There were about 100 Robins in the back yard.
This one was out front, and seemed very intent on getting in the house,
and watched me knit for the better part of the day!!






 I watched the sunset from the front window as well...

another inside day, that did not disappoint.
Isn't it gorgeous!!

    Beautiful robin. We are always so thrilled when the robins return, for it's our signal that spring is truly on its way (although a few years the robins have been fooled and have had to survive some late snowstorms!) Speaking of knitting, on one of my knitting rows, where at the end I have to SSK, (always such a difficult stitch for me, to get that off the needles without dropping it), I did drop it and have been trying to fix it ever since. I spent a good hour last night trying to figure out how to remedy the situation and finally resigned myself to taking it to a good knitting friend today, hoping she can help. I'm almost done with that hood and I refuse to rip the whole thing out again. Enjoy your beautiful robins today. Please send them to Wisconsin in another month. :-)

    Great pix Debbie, bot of the robins and sunsets. We look for Robins around here about mid-March, a ways to go yet.

    The sunsets have been incredible. I have sat outside and watched them too. I do love seeing robins you got some really nice shots Debbie. I was outside looking for them just yesterday but didn't see any but I did see that we have 3 northern flickers. That was a nice surprise.

    We haven't had any robins, yet. Since they're my harbingers of spring, I suppose it's just too cold for them to make an appearance. Our sunsets are behind a house across our street. We see the aftermath colors, though.

    Fantastic pictures of this sweet robin! So glad you had a day of knitting, bird watching from inside, and the view of that gorgeous sunset. Glad you didn't have to get out in the snow.
