Saturday Critters ~ 58 ~

They swarmed the car...
beep, beep...no one moved...
I couldn't open the door, I couldn't get out...
I guess they thought I came with food.
I have read on-line that it is o.k. to feed them bread and lettuce.
But there were signs,
"Do not feed the Water Fowl"
you all know that I follow the rules...
* smile *

I had to take all the pictures from inside the car, but it worked,
and I didn't get cold!

 Bye bye, so long, farewell, thanks for nothing!!

Sharing images of these very pretty Mallards with
for Saturday Critters stop by and consider joining in,
any ole' critter will do!

  9. Odd, isn't it, that the male of so many species is so beautiful, and the female so drab. So unlike homo sapiens, wink, wink!! BTW, I heard that bread is the worst thing to feed ducks and geese -- they can't digest it and their intestines get mucked up. Beautiful photos, as always!!

  22. I am a ducky fan too! Also, I know that feeling about following the rules, which many don't, as I watched the girl descend the stairway yesterday that was blocked off with yellow tape. DO NOT ENTER! I was so ready to follow, but i didn't. I'll come back another day and come in the back side of the park, because Trumpeter Swans are so beautiful!
