My Dark Eyed Junco's have returned for winter,
and I could not be happier.
With the exception of cardinals, this is the prettiest
bird when it is surrounded with snow.
This Junco was much darker then the second one that visited.
This one was more gray then black!!

You're fortunate! Juncos are not regulars for us, but they do appear from time to time. They're one of my favorites. Nice photos!

I used to see a lot of juncos when we lived in Alabama but not so many in the part of Va. where I am now. I wonder why. They are so pretty to watch.
