September 8, 2014 a stormy day on Bayhead Beach
Don't Give Up The Ship
Today, I am sharing these pretty beach fences with
my good friend
my good friend
for Good Fences.
Stop by and consider joining in the fun, any fence or gate will do!!
In Canada we call them snow fences. They are used to prevent snow drifts on the roads.
ReplyDeleteI can't get enough of your beach photos. My favorite place in the world!
ReplyDeleteLove how the storm clouds look over the ocean! Nice quote in the last photo!
ReplyDeleteWow, the sky is quite beautiful! Wonderful pictures, dear Debbie!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day!
you know I love clouds
ReplyDelete(and trees, and critters, and the water...not necessarily in that order)
Oooooooh! These are the BEST fences.

ps Since I switched to Wordpress, I have become a "no-reply" blogger again. But not really. This only happens when I comment on Blogger blogs with my Wordpress account. So, not wanting to appear snobbish, I'm gonna just reply with my Blogger account. If people go there to see who I am, they will be redirected to Wordpress anyway.
just really beautiful! love the skies and the flags flying, too! thanks, debbie!
ReplyDeleteI love this kind of fencing, Debbie. It keeps the sand from shifting too much...or in winter the snow.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous skies!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the ocean in its many moods -- including this churning attitude! Beach fences are so distinctive!
ReplyDeleteYou don't see wooden snow fencing much anymore, just that orange plastic stuff, so this is a treat!! The ocean does not look happy today! My favourite image is the macro of the fence - but you already guessed that, didn't you?
ReplyDeleteI loved the next post, too! So many treasures!! May I send my Mom a copy of that shot with the candelabra made from pipe fittings? My Dad was a plumber, and I think she would get a kick out of it!
Lots of drama in those skies. Great photos. Love the beach.
ReplyDeleteYour photos rock my world! I plan on sailing as long as possible! Beautiful collection.
ReplyDeleteVery dramatic surf and sky! I've seen that type of fence in Pensacola and also in Colorado..it serves a good purpose of holding back snow or sand, I guess.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, Debbie.
ReplyDeleteI just love east coast beach fences.
Very beautiful - even if the sky is a bit ominous - or maybe because the sky is a bit ominous. Either way - these are fantastic shots of coastal fences!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the flags.
ReplyDeleteWe see a lot of fencing here at the beach like that also.
Oh, and I LOVE the clouds. :)
ReplyDeleteYour beach pictures from the beach are amazing Debbie!!I like storm clouds and the wooden fences!!
ReplyDeleteDimi...
The sky looks amazing! It looks thick with approaching storms.
ReplyDeleteVery nice shots . . . VERY!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sky! A fantastic day for photography obviously. These are great!
ReplyDeleteEven a stormy day at the beach can be fantastic. Wonderful beach shots, those clouds are awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe clouds are awesome! I like the whitecaps, too! They add to the stormy feel.
ReplyDeleteThese are GORGEOUS!!! Love me a stormy day at the beach. And those dune fences just take me right back to my childhood! (I actually remembered to link up some fences of my own this week!)
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots, Debbie. The beach looks so refreshing and inviting.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Love the dunes and the sky.
ReplyDeleteLoved the fences and the beach looked lovely.
ReplyDeleteBlessings~
