Early fall is storm season at the Jersey Shore.
The goldenrod is blooming, the skies get angry, the ocean roars
and the snow fences go up.
The summer crowds are gone and this is my favorite time to walk
along the ocean, or ride my bike on the boards!!

I haven't been back to the Jersy Shore in years, but one never forgets how beautiful and peaceful it is. Your snow fences are amazing ... ours are plastic and bright orange, ugh ... but fences just the same. I should post a picture of one so you can see how lucky you are.
