The Christmas Carousal

This year, our favorite little seaside community, Pier Village
had the most festive holiday display!

My favorite part...The Christmas Carousal...
It looked a little older, the horses had some worn edges,
there were lot's of scuffs and scrapes, where little ones had come and gone.

The Carousal had so much charm,
it had clearly hosted some very happy riders!

Today was no different...let me show you...

December 21, 2013, a fun and festive day!!

  2. I love that some of them have names! I think a good, old fashioned carousel should have a few signs of having been enjoyed by years and years full of happy kids ~ both of the little and big variety! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas with your family!!

  16. That's a beautiful carousel! The bumps and scrapes just show that it's been loved and used. :-) I used to love riding them. I'd pretend I was really riding a horse.
