let it snow, let it snow!!
Yesterday, it snowed!!
We got about 5 inches of the pretty white stuff.
During the night, it changed to rain and right now, it's all gone.
But let's rewind to yesterday and have a peak at our
gorgeous view of the snow!
Always save a few hydrangea blooms,
they are just gorgeous covered in snow!!
Was there a walk in the snow, you ask...
you bet there was!!
Here's what the yard looked like, around 10 p.m...
a beautiful winter wonderland!!
Debbie, love your snow covered hydrangea. And the pines are lovely with their branches covered in snow. I do hope you left your flip-flops at home while walking in the snow.
ReplyDeleteWe still have our 7-8 inches of snow here if you want some.
Great shots, have a happy day.
So pretty!! We woke up to a dusting...but it's been raining here for a few hours already. So kinda dreary! Thanks for checking on me...been sick. Brian, me and the boy. I'll email you the rest of my story! I'm in love with the hydrangea shot!! And the bird bath too!
ReplyDeleteGood post Debbie, here we don't have snow it's now + 10 Celsius.... we like ofcourse a white Christmas....but that was a long time ago. So we are still dreaming of a white Christmas.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Joop
Yay - SNOW! Nice and fluffy. Too bad it's gone :(
ReplyDeleteNice shots Debbie!
Oh so pretty, mother natures lace! We had about 1 inch of snow, but it was very dry and didn't stick to anything and just barely covered the ground. But these freezing temperatures are keeping us inside, the high yesterday was 17! Burrr... time to make some more peanut butter fudge. Thanks for sharing Debbie, beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWe got ten inches here -- surprise! It was supposed to be a dusting! It's still white here, but most of it was washed away.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful snow pictures! I love the look of snow on trees--they fill in each delicate branch and creates a lovely picture! We got mostly ice here. :-(
ReplyDeletenothing better than evergreens in the snow. your birdbath made me smile. glad it is melted so no limbs are breaking and the birds can drink again. :)
ReplyDeleteI heard about the snow down there, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteNo snow here, but we are in for a rather sizable ice "event" today. Crossing my fingers for a white Christmas. :-)
beautiful. i love snow!! sadly we only got ice. very slippery. i will enjoy your shots. i will not dwell within our icy gloom. thank you for sharing. stay warm & cozy.
ReplyDeleteif you have more to share i would be very so child like to see more. i remember those days. of missing school to enjoy making snow angels or rolling around being silly. ha. ha!! ( :
We got snow here too and since it is only 17 degrees right now it is still staying right there. I am on my way out to clean off my car.
ReplyDeleteYour photos are so pretty, just right for a Christmas card.
Beautiful snow pictures
ReplyDeleteGreetings
The pictures are awesome of your winter wonderland. We have quite a bit of snow and I should take some pictures. Thus far I haven't been out much in it. Today, I do have some errands to run.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
HI Debbbie It looks gorgeous. it is a ppity it did not stay longer but at least you were able to get great shots.
ReplyDeleteI had big plans to take snowy pictures this morning. I was shocked that it was all gone! I love your pictures. It was so pretty while it lasted.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pictures - we very rarely get snow like that here. Usually we just get rain!!

ReplyDeleteA winter wonderland indeed . . . Love the footsteps :)
ReplyDeleteI love the snow. Thank you for sharing the photographs.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I love new snow. We were supposed to get up to 4", but ended up with less than an inch. The storm gave us more rain and freezing rain than snow.
ReplyDeleteAll very pretty shots .
ReplyDeleteThat bird bath shot , I love it !
That is very beautiful. Too cold here to enjoy any outdoor activity, but that too will change.
ReplyDeleteOh, your back yard did look like a winter wonderland. Love the fresh snow on the tree branches. I'm so sorry all your snow melted. I can send you more if you like!!! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're getting to share winter with us - except ours stays around!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots of the snow! We're still in the 80's here in Florida.
ReplyDeleteOoooh, so pretty! I love it when there is a big heavy snow like that.
ReplyDeleteYou are soooo right about the hydrangeas. I love them at every stage--from pale beginning blossoms to the dried heads at the end of the season.
We got just a little bit of snow. Don't you just love the way the snow looks on the evergreens? Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteYou got some great pictures of the snow!! I haven't managed to get many yet, since I need a rest after I get home from school, and then it is getting dark...
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos; nothing but rain (and lots of it) for us.
