Let It Snow...

let it snow, let it snow!!

Yesterday, it snowed!!
We got about 5 inches of the pretty white stuff.
During the night, it changed to rain and right now, it's all gone.

But let's rewind to yesterday and have a peak at our
gorgeous view of the snow!

Always save a few hydrangea blooms,
they are just gorgeous covered in snow!!

Was there a walk in the snow, you ask...

you bet there was!!

Here's what the yard looked like, around 10 p.m...
a beautiful winter wonderland!!

  1. Debbie, love your snow covered hydrangea. And the pines are lovely with their branches covered in snow. I do hope you left your flip-flops at home while walking in the snow.
We still have our 7-8 inches of snow here if you want some.
Great shots, have a happy day.

  5. Oh so pretty, mother natures lace! We had about 1 inch of snow, but it was very dry and didn't stick to anything and just barely covered the ground. But these freezing temperatures are keeping us inside, the high yesterday was 17! Burrr... time to make some more peanut butter fudge. Thanks for sharing Debbie, beautiful!

  6. We got ten inches here -- surprise! It was supposed to be a dusting! It's still white here, but most of it was washed away.

No snow here, but we are in for a rather sizable ice "event" today. Crossing my fingers for a white Christmas. :-)

  19. These are beautiful! I love new snow. We were supposed to get up to 4", but ended up with less than an inch. The storm gave us more rain and freezing rain than snow.

  25. Ooooh, so pretty! I love it when there is a big heavy snow like that.

You are soooo right about the hydrangeas. I love them at every stage--from pale beginning blossoms to the dried heads at the end of the season.
