Song-ography ~ What a Wonderful World ~ Edition 15

I see trees of green,

  red roses too...
I see them bloom, for me and you.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

I see skies of blue, and clouds of white.
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

The colors of the rainbow, so pretty in the sky.
Are also on the faces, of people going by,

I see friends shaking hands, saying, "How do you do?"
They're really saying, "I Love You".

I hear babies cry, I watch them grow,

They'll learn much more, than I'll ever know.
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

Yes, I think to myself, what a wonderful world.

Many thanks to the "boys" I met in Long Branch yesterday.
What a super sweet group of friends, I could have spent an entire
afternoon with them...what great spirits they had.

And to the young man I met carrying his beautiful brown dog,
for one last trip to the beach.
You are a kind soul and a gentle giant,
I hope he sleeps peacefully!

  10. OH, this made me so happy!! I can just picture hanging with "your" guys on the boardwalk...as you told them why you wanted them to shake hands!!! We went, years ago, on a trip to the Oregon coast with my brother in law, and his beloved dog, who was sick with cancer. He wanted him to play in the ocean once before he passed. It was an amazing trip - for so many reasons - but I think we were sensitized, and extra grateful to all be together in a beautiful spot. Thanks for bringing me back to that time - HUGS!!
