I attract so many birds at my home feeders,
unfortunately, not all are healthy.
This little sweetie is my newest hero!
Blind, with limited flying ability this Female House Finch
is able to find my feeders, enjoy my offerings
and mingle safely with my other, healthy birds.
When she senses my presence
or knows other birds are around, she will open up her eyes!
I have old, fading hydrangeas under the feeders,
a good spot for her to seak shelter and remain protected!
She finds me every day...
and always let's me know she feels my presence!!
I named her "Lucky"!!
Oh my goodness - that is so sweet!
