Of few years ago, I would have completely skipped over news stories from the Jersey Shore. Sad events, but not relevant in my daily life, I would have selfishly thought. Then I 'met' the purple lady. I read with great interest and always a smile of her LOVE for that shoreline and it's culture. SO this morning, when I saw the news, my heart nearly broke for you Debbie. Sending *hugs* and a heart full of Hope.
I was so sorry when I saw the fire on the news last night. It's awful. I am so sorry for everyone involved. Keeping you all in my thoughts and hoping some good can rise out of the ashes.
Beautiful scene and photo, Debbie! Sending my prayers to the people of Seaside and I know the Jersey shore will return as strong as ever! Wishing you a happy weekend!
I followed the news about the fire and immediately thought of you. Such a tragedy. I'm guessing it will just make people even more determined to rebuild. The human spirit can be very strong.
I've been out of touch and haven't heard about the fire. This is the first I have heard of it. How sad, I will check out the news immediately. Thinking of you all at the Jersey Shore.
We are with you on these thoughts, Debbie, as natives of NJ. Seaside Park was where Pat/Grenville spent a lot of his childhood days so very bittersweet to watch this tragedy and see its aftermath.
Oh Debbie I just heard on the news and immediately thought of you. HUGS. B
