A few days ago, January 10th, we got Snow!
If you follow my blog you know I love the snow!
I got so excited, got up early,
and quickly went out side to take pictures,
because I knew it wouldn't last long!
There will be no laughing tolerated,
I put on the boots for all of you!
Yes, I have boots and I never wear them!
There was only a dusting,
and it was perfect for pictures!
See, just a dusting and our grass is still green.
As I turned to go back in the house,
I saw this onelonely lovely rose bud...
I saw this one
that never got a chance to bloom.
yes, your boots made me smile. :) glad you got to see/feel/photograph the snow. :)
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I am so glad you got your much loved snow. And glad to see you have boots to keep your feet warm. Lovely photo, have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got your snow! The photos are beautiful!

A buty nie były mokre jak wróciłaś do domu po świetnej sesji zdjęciowej. Myślę, że tak, bo śnieg był mokry. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteAnd shoes were wet and came back home after a great photo shoot. I think so, because the snow was wet. Yours.
I am glad you got your snow. I am so willing to let you have any or all of the snow we get for the rest of the winter. :-)
ReplyDeleteYeah snow for you maybe next time it will last longer:) B
ReplyDeleteI laughed, what no flip-flops? Are you getting O**? You did get some beautiful shots of your dusting. Happy Saturday!!!
ReplyDeleteLovely pics - every single one!
ReplyDeleteWhat no flip flops? Beautiful pictures
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see you got some snow and glad to see you have boots! :)
ReplyDeleteThe photos are lovely!
Ours has all melted. It's 52 degrees here and raining :(
ReplyDeleteI love your shots, and your boots, UGG's? They are the only footwear I own other than flip flops.
so great. i don't have snow boots. so lucky you!! enjoy those views. i'm sort of like you when it comes to snow i get so excited & will take tons of shots. fun, fun, fun!!! ( :
ReplyDeleteThat kind of snow is very pretty, but then so is the dump we got overnight.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty snow too. It looks so pretty. I would be happy if we ever got snow.
ReplyDeleteOh the first thing I saw was the boots, but was absolutely certain it was a picture of someone else's toes. I love snow (and snow days) as well. Bonnie
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty shots - love the sparkle that pops in a couple of them! And we only fuss at your flip flops cause it's fun!!! Who needs boots!!???
ReplyDeleteLove the snow-covered pine needles! I'm glad you took photos before it melted. We're in the 60's here with rain.
ReplyDeleteWe do miss the snow in our home state of NJ and as we lived very close to Double Trouble State Park we would go walking there when it snowed. Not much chance to significant snow here in VA this season it seems.
ReplyDeleteLooks like the perfect snow to take photos in!
ReplyDeleteI too love the snow!! Ours just melted but looking to get some more soon. Your pictures are just lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by and the comment today! :)
Love these pictures, Debbie! (The rose reminded me that, in November, 1969, when my Grandmother died, my Mom picked a rose bud off of one of her bushes and saved it.)
ReplyDeleteThanks for reminding me - it made me smile.
That last picture is amazing!
Loved seeing your boots and hearing about how happy the snow made you! :)
ReplyDeletePURE BEAUTY!!
ReplyDeleteThose are gorgeous photos!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's the best sort of snow...just enough to make things pretty, but it doesn't wreck havoc on the drive to work. Please enjoy it for me...we haven't had any yet this season. :(
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures of the snow, grass and pines. I especially loved the picture with the boots. We have about 7 inches of snow here and it has been very cold. I love looking at it but I don't enjoy being out in the snow for very long.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
I love snow too...in moderation. :-) If we ever get any here, you'll probably hear me holler for real! :-) It snows in the mountains nearby and I always enjoy seeing it there. Loved your photos!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say, in the Shrek post, that you have boots!!! But you know that in Canada, that doesn't even count as snow...
ReplyDeleteWe have lost a lot of ours, after the thaw and the rain. I am not worried. It is only the middle of January, and there will be more... Sigh!
