This is one of the largest indoor trees in Washington,
looking very lovely in purple.
This place is a must see at Christmas,
it will absolutely take your breath away...

I have an aunt by marriage who grew up in Serbia, and they put up the tree on Dec. 24, Uncle's birthday, so it will still be fresh for Orthodox Christmas, some 10 or 12 days later. Usually, they have finished the decorating by then. Then they have a tree undecorating party late in February.
ReplyDeleteI'm a 'Christmas makes me happy all year round' kinda gal! So these photos make perfect sense to me! LOVE the colors! I always imagine myself doing something NOT red/green/gold at Christmas...and then either chicken out or am just not sure how! These colors inspire me! (and you and Chuck are cute too!)

Lovely pictures and I enjoyed seeing them in January. I have a hard time letting Christmas go each year. The trees were so beautiful. What a fun Christmas adventure.
ReplyDeleteHere in Salt Lake they have a Christmas Festival of trees that are decorated and purchased and the money goes to the Primary Children's hospital. They are all decorated in so many different ways. Next year I will go and take some pictures and post them.
