It was so much fun watching this beautiful Male Goldfinch,
as he feasted on the sunflower seeds!!
But as soon as he saw me, he took off!!
I need to spend more time on the side yard,
with these beautiful men, so they get to know me better,
and so they trust me.

They're especially good looking with the bright plumage! Come winter they'll look like they've been living on the street for a while. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love them, but they don't like me! For some reason the house finches don't mind my presence, but the goldfinches do. Unfortunately I don't have anywhere to hide in my yard, but I'm working on it.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of the "boys" As they get used to you, hopefully you will get more photos. Have a great day!

Aren't they beautiful?! Guess they will be starting to change soon. Beautiful pics!!
ReplyDeleteThey should get used to you pretty quick. I have a finch feeder hanging really close to my patio and when it's cool enough (which has been weeks it seems) I sit outside and they will come to the feeder which is just a few feet away. Love the pretty boys!
ReplyDeleteThis bird is a beautiful lemon.
