Don't Ruffle My Feathers!!

An exciting moment for me,
 as I am always on the hunt for the Great Egret.

I recently found a Marina, close to home, where they seem to hang out.

Here he's doing the "two step" before he see's me.

As I start to run toward him approach him, he see's me,
he pulls down his neck,

and seems quite guarded.

He looks away for a second,

strikes one more pose...

and fly's off!!
One day I am going to get a good flight shot!

  30. I got a giggle when I read that you ran toward him, well, I sure have done that before, or at least a very fast walk. You want so much to get those captures and you just know they are about to take off, and so;') You sure got some wonderful image shares~
