The Squirrel Proof Feeder

We paid a little extra for these bird feeders,
they are squirrel proof and they came with a guarantee.
I will post these pictures in the order I took them
no explanation is necessary!!

Warning: There are a lot of pictures,
but I am sure they will make you smile!!

as the hubs is very busy!!

  2. Oh, I have concluded there are no squirrel proof feeders. I do love my squirrel if for nothing else their tenacity. Yes I will be smiling all day. Bonnie

  3. I happen to have this very same bird feeder ! I love it it is a great color and the leaves are cool on there I have not had any squirrel problem. perhaps try putting different seed in it for awhile like just thistle seed for finches.
    anyway I like your taste in feeders

  17. Love this post! We have the very same feeder!! The only one we have that is truly squirrel safe is the one for the finches.

    LD does battle with the squirrels, too. Bird seed is SO expensive to use as squirrel feed!

    I won't tell you how Louis Dean discourages them.......

  29. I had the same feeder for a while. I got way more squirrels than birds. I finally took it down. I never had one crawl down the middle. Pretty funny.

    I have found that the more you fight them, the more frustrated you get. Just give in and give the little guy his own food. And embrace their visits.
