Please Don't Play With Me!!

I get lot's of beautiful goldfinches in my backyard.
The food level in the goldfinch feeder keeps dropping,
but I haven't been seeing them.

They have been "elusive"!!

Yesterday, I needed a break from "work".
I took out the camera, opened the window and
aimed at my favorite bird tree...
there he was!!

Being shy...

Giving me the cold shoulder...

Pretending he did not see me, hanging out the window...

Starting to become interested...

Saving the best for last, there he is, finally cooperating,
and looking extremely handsome!!

  4. Great shots, Debbie! We had goldfinches over the winter, but their plumage wasn't nearly as bright then. Love this one!

  5. So sweet and such a vibrant colour. Great shots! When I hang out the window to get a bird pic, they immediately fly away and I can hear them laughing at me.
