He came for breakfast,
as I was trying to decide what I would write about today.
He got his seed, but could not crack it open.
I was going to say "he got his nut"
but something about that seemed wrong!!
Can you see the sunflower seed between his little feet??
He finally opens it and enjoys the nut inside.
Must be a male,
after enjoying a good meal, he fluffs his feathers.
Saying thank you for the seeds.
Posing...
Do you think this is my good side??
Or perhaps this is my better side??
He was done and he flew off.
These pictures were taken 5 minutes ago,
straight out of the camera, only the "seed" picture was cropped.
And just like that, I had today's entry.
I barely got out of the office chair.
I do get work done occasionally, but I mostly goof off.
Good thing I "work" for the hubs!!
What a cute bird!

ReplyDeleteWhat a cutie, and so cooperative. I have found them to be a bit more cautious than some of our other back yard visitors.
ReplyDeleteWow, great photos of the little guy! He must've thought you were cute to puff out like that for you!
ReplyDeleteLovely post and pictures! I loved this one and it was magazine worthy. Maybe you should publish a book of beautiful pictures of nature. These pictures were so good.
