Manalapan, New Jersey
I have shared several barn pictures from this farm in Manalapan, NJ.
It's a huge piece of land, there are at least
10 barns on the property, all abandon.
The overgrowth prevented me from getting closer to this one.

It must of been some place when it was active...with all those beautiful barns!
ReplyDeleteNow wouldn't you just love to take a few days to go exploring through them all!?
ReplyDeleteAnother winner!!
ReplyDeleteThe whole place? Just empty? How sad is that?
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to hearing all about your Easter.
Wow! That's a lot of abandoned barns on one property. I would really like to check them out.
ReplyDeleteLove those old silos. Wonder what it's like up close. Nice one!
ReplyDeleteIt's sad to think of how vibrant these buildings must have been when this was a working farm. And how strong they are - to withstand the elements without care or attention - and still be standing tall. Another great shot!
ReplyDeleteThat is a huge barn, too bad it is no longer used.
ReplyDeleteIt's sad about the abandoned barns. They have outlived their usefulness, I guess.
ReplyDeleteLove all of those silos! I can't even imagine that many barns on one property.
ReplyDelete10 abandoned barns! Sad. And wonder what was being done, on this land? Must have been a big operation, with the need for 10 barns.

Silos. They make a barn and a property. Sad that it is abandon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo. I like the 'atmosphere' of it. It's sad that so many barns are falling down in one spot! Pamela
ReplyDeleteoh i am just jealous of the property owner, having all those barns! probably some lame developer, blah!
ReplyDeleteOk, with a sky like that, it's hard to see anything else... but, I love barns, so I'll work my way thru... hehehee The silos really stand out. I sure wish we could tour these old barns, that one looks kinda of mysterious, esp being on abandoned property on such a large farm!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining =)
I, too, wonder if a land developer owns it...I hope not!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful- such beauty left unattended.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot! Too bad you can't get any closer.
