  16. Fantastic photos! I have loved, truly loved, squirrels since I was a child! I used to but peanuts when we went camping to have them to feed the squirrels. My grandfather used to worry about me getting bitten because when we camped in the off-season, I'd go to an empty site and sit on the picnic table and the squirrels would sit right next to me on the table.

I still put out food for the ones who climb out oak tree all the time.

  17. I see: they all LOVE peanuts!!!
    Breathtaking photos, Debbie!
    Very, very nice!

My poem is about birth and dead…a lonely, poor woman gives birth all alone surrounded with misery and hunger, after a day’s work in the farm…During the night she has her baby but she is too weak, fragile…so she dies…
The sound of the church bells spread the news of her death…and people say” She’s in Peace, now…let that be so.”!
Today it happens no more but some years ago in the poor rural areas this was a sad reality.
    Not Today!
(But don’t be sad: I’m a Literature teacher and …We do exaggerate!)

Sorry you have had difficult with trying to change your blog look. I thought you just had it the way you want it, and don't even get the urge to make changes.

  23. Love the birds in the branches. Really, really lovely shots. And I know I say this a lot, but nature's colors just can't be beat. I spend a lot of time looking at paper etc. that attempts to duplicate all these shades, but you can't beat the real thing!
