came and stayed,
for at least an hour!!
I took these photo's through the glass at the office window.
A wonderful experience as this bird was only inches away
and was sort of interacting with me.
He knew, for sure, that I was there and never flew off till his belly was full!!
Does anyone know the name of this cutie??
I can't offer an answer, Debbie but he is lovely! I can't wait to hear if someone can ID him for you. Great shots!
ReplyDeleteSorry I don't know what kind he is but he is cute.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely that he just sat and posed for you - you are lucky.
I would love to put birdseed and the like out but there are too many cats here.
I wonder if he can be found on this NJ bird website?

i love the little white throat, but the chaulkiness of the main plumage is puzzling. have never seen one like it.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea....but I DO like that he came to visit with you...FOR REAL:)))
ReplyDelete(Thank you for your address:)
Not a clue :)
ReplyDeleteI love his little feather tufts on his belly. He/she is a real charmer. Hugs! Bonnie
ReplyDeleteI must get a seed bell for outside my window! He's cute, but I have no idea what he is.
ReplyDeleteHaven't the foggiest, but he sure is cute isn't he? Beautiful pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie...I love it...what a great opportunity, and fantastic photo's
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me somewhat of a female Pine Grosbeak that hasn't all its coloring yet, but it seems it's beak should be larger..but don't quote me...what to heck do I know ; } lol!!

Oh my goodness, He is so cute. I would have stayed put also with all that free food. He must have also been day dreaming about being a super star with all the attention you were giving him.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing such amazing post daily. I look forward to all of your post.
I'm not going to be of any help either Debbie but he is a darling little bird. You've captured him beautifully.
ReplyDeleteDon't know who he is but he sure is cute. Terrific photos.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, Your bird could be a young cowbird. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others: great pictures. It must have been thrilling that he was so close! (Wonder if he was thinking: "I wish I had my camera!"???)
ReplyDeleteThe bill looks finchy to me, but other than that, I don't know either. Cute little friend to have at your feeder though. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to watch this little "unknow" guy enjoy his breakfast. Great shots. Have a nice weekend. Mickie :)
ReplyDelete...bird whisperer...that's you! Love the muted colors - the browns, beige...and the soft background. Really pretty composition
ReplyDeleteShe's a tuff one, My guess would be Brown Headed Cowbird, female. They have a distinct song. Very musical. Did she sing for you?
ReplyDeleteI was thinking cowbird also...juve.. that is the true embodies of the so called 'little brown jobs'...LBJ.....Michelle
ReplyDeleteThese are fantastic captures, Debbie!
